Defeating the forex market continually

Beating the Market on a Consistent Basis. Charlie Burton comments. What’s the average ratio of your winning versus losing trades? That would depend on the strategy I’m employing at the time; so for example on my day trading when I started I was initially trading with a strategy with a higher rate. However these days my win rate is more like 50% particularly for my swing trading. If I’m risking 1 to make 2 or 3 or 4 times I can afford to be wrong 50% of the time.

Is it possible to be a winning trader and beat the market on a consistent basis?
