  1. This was so helpful and it helped me overcome a problem I had been stuck with for a while now. It actually also performed better than the encoder-decoder architecture in my case. Thank you Lukas.

  2. I'm going to do something cool with encoder/decoder LSTMs and post it here, in hopes that it inspires Lukas to make another video. I think we are all a tiny bit frustrated (especially Lucas) because this video series is fundamentally better than most or all Machine Learning tutorials, and yet it has somehow eluded the fame it deserves. Fame is an algorithm too fuzzy even for a massively multilayer NN. But maybe if we write some cool code and post links to it here, at least it will make Lucas feel good about making more videos. 🙂

  3. Awesome explanation and code. I love that direct, teacher-like approach. New subscriber here 🙂
Video about image captioning would be truly interesting. It looks like my problem is very similar to aforementioned image captioning.
I'm trying to build a model for self-driving car (in CARLA simulator) that predicts future trajectory for a car based on image from camera and intent of next turn at intersection.
My goal is to teach the model to output 10 waypoints described as distance from car and relative angle to that waypoint -> 20 neurons in last dense layer 🙂
